1. Introduction
Vocia (“the App”) is an AI-powered voice note application developed by Digitaleria Sociedad Limitada (“we”, “us”, or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have regarding your data.
By using Vocia, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
2. Information We Collect
We collect no personal data by default.
All voice recordings, transcripts, notes, tasks, and tags you create are stored exclusively on your device. Nothing is transmitted to our servers unless you explicitly opt in to the features described below.
Optional — Anonymous Improvement Data (opt-in only): If you enable “Help Improve Vocia” in Settings, anonymized task patterns may be collected to help us improve the App’s task extraction quality. This option is disabled by default. No personal content, voice recordings, or transcripts are ever included in this data. You can disable this at any time in Settings → Privacy.
Optional — Cloud AI Processing (opt-in only): If you enable “Vocia Smart AI” in Settings, audio transcripts (not raw audio files) may be sent to our cloud processing service for enhanced analysis. This is disabled by default. When enabled, data is processed solely to provide the feature and is not stored or used for any other purpose.
We never collect:
- Your name, email, or any account information
- Payment details (handled entirely by Apple)
- Voice recordings or transcripts unless you opt in to cloud AI
- Any data without your explicit knowledge and consent
3. How We Use Your Information
By default, Vocia processes everything on your device using Apple Intelligence. No data leaves your iPhone.
If you have opted in to specific features:
- Anonymous Improvement Data — used only to improve task extraction accuracy within the App. No personal content is included.
- Cloud AI Processing — transcripts are processed to provide enhanced AI results. Data is not retained after processing.
We do not use any data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond what is described here.
4. Data Storage
All notes, tasks, tags, and recordings are stored locally on your iPhone using SwiftData. We do not operate servers that store your personal content.
Optional audio files saved to your device remain there until you delete them through the App or your device settings.
5. Subscriptions and Payments
Vocia offers auto-renewable subscriptions managed entirely through Apple’s App Store. We do not collect or process any payment information. All billing, receipts, and subscription management are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple’s Privacy Policy.
Subscription status is verified through RevenueCat, which processes only anonymous device identifiers. No personally identifiable information is shared with RevenueCat.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers or any third parties for marketing purposes.
7. Children’s Privacy
Vocia is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority
Since all your content is stored locally on your device, you can delete it at any time by removing notes within the App or by uninstalling Vocia entirely. To withdraw consent for optional data collection, simply disable the relevant option in Settings.

9. Data Retention
Your data lives on your device and is retained until you delete it. If you uninstall Vocia, all locally stored data is removed. We retain no copies on our servers.
If you opted in to anonymous improvement data, you can stop collection at any time by disabling “Help Improve Vocia” in Settings → Privacy.
10. Security
By processing everything on-device by default, your voice and notes are never exposed to network transmission. When cloud AI processing is used (opt-in only), data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections and is not retained after processing.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. For significant changes, we will notify you within the App.
